Our licenced guides are well travelled, and super knowledgeable on Australian history and it's landscape. They will see to it that you tick off your bucket list goals, while learning about the world's biggest island country.
Guides will organise all meals, accomodation, and of course, driving.
Kangaroo Taxi Co. and it's vehicles are registered in each state and territory's taxi/rideshare authority and are insured comprehensively to the satisfaction of each state/territory's requirements. All of our guides are fully licenced and hold valid federal background clearances as per Australian tourism operating law.
Our service caters primarily to those that wish to see our large, magnificent country, but also wish to take the stress out of car hire, long distance driving and other liabilities. We cater to everyone and their needs, including the elderly and disabled.
Across all destinations, we offer our customers the chance to see up close the wonder and beauty of Australia's nature, including wildlife spotting, stargazing and any other activities available. Please note that this type of service is only available when more time has been booked, as direct trips involve very long days of driving.
Our departing stations are in Melbourne and Sydney, and our guides travel anywhere in Australia, including to Tasmania!

It's a good question, so allow us to explain... Kangaroo Taxi Co. Is Australia's first and only dedicated long distance taxi service. Australia is a vast country with cities that lay as far as 4000+ kilometers apart. Some want to tick off their bucket list having taken a taxi across a continent, and we happen to think that's quite fair! As for others, our service provides the perfect personal touch to seeing the country from the ground level while also learning from our expert guides. We have a fleet of 4 Volkswagen Golf wagons (so you can take all that extra luggage).
